Agile Content, a company listed on BME Growth and a leading provider of digital TV and video distribution solutions, has reorganized its Board of Directors with the appointment of Carmen Fernández de Alarcón as independent director. With this incorporation, the company reinforces the composition of its board with a relevant figure in the communication and advertising sector, enriching the capacities in a segment of growing importance for the evolution of the OTT market.
Carmen Fernández de Alarcón, CEO of Havas and member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Prisa, has extensive experience in the sector, always linked to innovation and business transformation. The new member is incorporated at a time when the company is executing significant growth both in the evolution of its results and in its positioning in a fragmented market with consolidation options. She will replace Aloysio Junqueira, who is completing his six-year cycle. The Board thanks Aloysio for his important work, his involvement and his substantial contributions during these years of evolution and growth for the company. The appointment of Carmen Fernández de Alarcón has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be proposed for ratification by the General Shareholders’ Meeting to be held in Bilbao on June 27, 2022.
The Board of Directors of Agile Content will be made up of 10 directors, three of them women. In this way, the company continues to make progress in improving good corporate governance, reinforcing gender diversity, with a weight of women on the Board of Directors amounting to 30%.

Carmen Fernández de Alarcón is the CEO of Havas Spain and since June 2021 member of the Board of Directors at Prisa Group and Member of the Appointments, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee, Member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, and Member of the Sustainability Committee. With a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICADE E-2 and a Higher course in Integrated Digital Communication from the IE Business School, she has extensive experience in the design, development and management of Commercial, Marketing and Communication strategies, both in national and international environments.
In 2016 she was appointed CEO of the creative agency Havas Spain, a position that she combines with her appointment as Director of the Prisa Group, representing Vivendi.
Carmen Fernández de Alarcón has worked for leading companies in her sector, such as Procter & Gamble, JWT, Grupo BBDO and Havas Media Group. In the latter she was named Head of Global Business Transformation in 2012, a position she held until 2014. The following two years she was CEO of Havas Sports and Entertainment (Havas SE), also belonging to the Havas Group.
