Hernan Scapusio

Hernan Scapusio

Chairman of the Board, President and Co-founder of Agile Content. Hernan leads the organic and inorganic growth of the company, with a strong international expansion, placing it as a reference player for large companies in the territories in which it operates. With more than ten years of experience in management within the Audiovisual and Information technology sector, Hernan branched out further into cinema and video post-production and worked with leading directors.

 

Hernan is currently a member of the Cercle d’ Economia and collaborator on numerous initiatives promoting digital technologies. He is also actively participating in various Digital TV forums promoted by the Ministry of Industry and by the Autonomous Government of Catalonia (Generalitat), Spain.

 

He has taught at different universities, such as Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Blanquerna – Ramón Llull University (URL), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Carlos III University of Madrid, among others. He studied Audiovisual Design at the University of Buenos Aires, Management Development Program (PPD) from the IESE Business School (Spain), and Marketing for Media (IME, US).

Alfredo Redondo

CEO

Alfredo Redondo has a long history in technology companies. His basic training is Telecommunications Engineering (UPM, Spain) to which he added two master’s degrees, one in Satellite Communications (IRET, France) and another in Business Administration (IESE, Spain). His career began at Alcatel (now integrated into Nokia) as a Development Engineer and went through different responsibilities until he became Executive President for Iberia and Latin America, exceeding two billion euros in turnover with more than five thousand professionals. After the merger of Alcatel and Lucent (which invoiced one billion euros for Iberia), he led Iberia’s operations as Executive Chairman as well. It should be remembered that, during that time, Alcatel-Lucent played a leading role in the first IPTV deployments in the world in general and in Spain in particular, undertaking the deployment of four IPTV networks in parallel.

He later served as CEO at Amper, leading the internationalization of this IS/IT solutions integrator with its own developments in Defense, Security and home solutions. Finally, and also as CEO, he led the internationalization and evolution to the SaaS model in the cloud of Altitude Software, developer of Software solutions for Customer Relations. Parallel to these positions as an Executive in these large and medium-sized technology companies, Alfredo Redondo has contributed as an advisor to other initiatives and today is part of some Advisory Councils. Very committed to the sector, he has been an executive member of the Spanish associations AMETIC and Digitales.

Monica Rayo

COO and Co-founder of Agile Content, Monica leads Product, R&D, and Operations. With more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector, Monica has led consulting teams at multinational firms like Oracle, specializing in media convergence and transformation. As a CTO, she has contributed to push forward the future of TV in CCRTV (Spanish broadcaster) leading projects that became a reference for digital video and DTT innovation. Passionate about maximizing the value of content and technology assets to generate and develop new business models, Monica founded Agile Content in 2007 with the purpose of becoming a leading partner for TV Business. Starting the path to pioneer key digital projects for Top T&M Companies in Europe and LATAM. Monica contributes to the evolution of Agile by focusing on capturing value in the digital media space for T&M by driving results towards innovation and efficiency.

 

Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and in Computer Science from Universidad La Salle, (Spain), and an Executive Program PDD by IESE Business School (Spain).

Nuno Ferraz de Carvalho

Nuno Carvalho

Over 20 years of experience in the global ICT market within general management, sales, software, and services with a strong focus on leading and developing the vision, strategy, and sales in a multi-diverse and multi-country team environment. In 2014 Nuno relocated to Madrid, Spain, and stayed until 2020, while working at Cisco Systems as a Managing Director for the Telco, Media and Broadcasters Unit in South, Central Europe, and LATAM. Between 2012-2014 he assumed the role of Portugal General Manager and before joining Cisco (in 1998) he lead the Bank Branch & Automation unit at Olivetti Portugal.

Johan Bolin

Johan Bolin

Johan has more than 20 years of experience in various management and executive positions in the Telecom and Media industry. He has worked with both fixed, mobile, and TV products both on the vendor (Ericsson, Edgeware) and operator (Tele2) side. With a passion for technology, Johan has a wide and deep experience spanning from Ericsson Research on subjects such as virtual and augmented reality, advanced video coding, and mobile technology as well as managing the technology shifts from the product and content perspective on the operator side in both fixed, mobile and TV products. Johan has also founded two companies, holds 40 patents, and was in 2019 proclaimed Mr. Streaming by the Swedish broadcast magazine Monitor.

Alex Puregger

Alex Puregger

After University Alex spent 8 years at Booz Allen, a leading Strategy Consultancy. He led numerous CEO-level projects in Telecom, Media, and Internet on a global basis; he co-founded the BA Vienna office and led the Iberia Telco practice. In 2006 he started his journey at Fon WiFi, where he led the approach of collaborating with operators in B2B2C; the basis for Fon to become the world´s largest WiFi community. Alex was responsible for the operational execution and later became CEO, following founder Martin Varsavsky. Investors/board of Fon included: Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Deutsche Telekom, Index Ventures, or Atomico (led by the founder of Skype). Over the years, Alex built and managed a team of +200 highly skilled people with revenues of +50M€. In 2018 he led a financed buy-out of 100% of Fon and in the following years, Alex restructured Fon focusing the core on profitability and continuity

Cristian Grau

Christian Grau

With more than 14 years in the financial sector, Cristian started his career working at PwC as an External Auditor, for almost 5 years, on different projects in the Industrial Products, Retail, and Pharmaceutical industries. He worked in the headquarters of Accelya Group, as an Internal Auditor where he specialized in controlling all the subsidiaries, managing the group consolidation, and analyzing the group’s cash position.


In 2015, he moved to Privalia (nowadays Veepe) where he worked as Corporate Controller, focusing on all management and board reports, having the chance to specialize in the e-commerce sector. In 2017 he joined Agile Content looking for great experiences and accomplishments to be proud of.

Anders Westin

Anders Westin

Started his career in 1995 at ABB as a software developer and soon became a R&D project manager for new products. In 2000 he worked as a project manager in Ericsson’s first Smartphone project, R380, before becoming a line manager at Ericsson for the Smartphone application platform software in 2001. In 2006 he moved to Manchester, UK, and became SW R&D Director and Site Manager at Sony Ericsson. After more than 10 years developing mobile phones he continued his career, in 2012, at Motorola in Linköping, Sweden, as Sr Director of Engineering for IP set-top box development before starting at Edgeware AB as VP R&D in 2017. He was appointed Managing Director of Edgeware in 2021, which also is his current role in addition to VP R&D.

Before joining Agile, Fabio Amaral worked for companies such as Baan/Infor, Apple, Totvs and Folha de São Paulo/Plural. He made numerous contributions for these companies that benefited their bottom line. These accomplishments were derived from his Accounting background and an extensive experience in impacting financial strategies and performance in medium and large-sized, national and multinational companies. Results oriented individual, awarded and promoted several times for outstanding performance, adept at implementing detailed financial models, businesses plans, and forecasts, focusing on key revenue drivers and KPIs. Introducing highly effective cost controls, sophisticated tools for performance analysis, multi-currency accounting systems and reporting. Conducting audit reviews, SOX adherence and risk assessment. One of his key talents is a practical approach on the day to day activities based on a superior interpersonal and communication skills, capable of resolving multiple and complex issues and motivating staff to perform at their best.

Daniel Muñoz

Entertainment & Media executive with more than 20 track record in blue-chip companies with multimillion P&L and team leadership responsibilities. Daniel started his career as a strategy consultant at PWC in complex advisory Telco & Media assignments. During his time at IBM, he had a major role in creating and managing the vertical solutions marketing-oriented practice for Spain, Portugal, Italy, Israel, and Turkey. 


Daniel resumed a full focus on media by leading corporate & business development roles at industry moguls such as FOX, Discovery, and Viacom, with the responsibility of expanding and managing the business footprint, including traditional and emerging content monetization in different forms (distribution, ad sales, digital) throughout the European market. Expert in 360º content value propositions involving complex business models with a multi-brand approach.

Alexandre Fernandez

Started his career in 1997 at Alcatel as a software developer and became an international consultant working for tier 1 Telcos in Brazil, Morocco, and Germany. He was General Manager for Link Consulting Brazil in 2001, before joining Vivo in 2004 to assume a Director Position for Product & Services and Innovation. 


After 13 years of experience running the Development and P&L for several verticals (Gaming, Security, Cloud, Education, Advertising, Financial Services among others), moved to Telefonica Madrid to lead the Digital Services Team at a Global level (Brazil, Latam, Spain, Germany, and the UK). Since 2017 he worked as VP Europe for TimweTech and FS and was also a Board Member at some IT Service Providers, before joining Agile Content in April 2021.

Joined Agile Content in 2010 and since then has maintained an extensive track record of success in large audience digital projects for clients such as Terra, Telefonica, Claro, Personal, Globo, and CNN Brasil.

Caspar Luyten is Agile Content’s Vice President of Business Development. 

Caspar is an expert in International Business Development, Customer Experience, and Digital transformation. He brings over 20 years of expertise with management experience in various industries, including telecom (WindTre/CK Hutchison, Veon, Telefonica, and BT), IT (Microsoft, Agile Content), office supply wholesale (Adveo), strategy consulting (Roland Berger), and solar power (Alion Energy). Leadership experiences include P&L management, strategy design, business development, partnerships, transformation, post-merger integration, turnaround, restructuring and performance improvement. He is fluent in 4 languages and passionate about translating strategy into action.

 

Caspar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Netherlands), MBA from IESE Business School (Spain), and Advanced Management Program from IE Business School (Spain).

With an accumulated 18 years experience in the international IT sector and an additional 8 in the video delivery industry, he became an expert in business development for EMEA & Americas relating to innovative technologies such as Digital TV, Media, and Broadcast.


An active member of the Portuguese entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem, he now leads a result-driven team focused on business solutions, based on video distribution. As a result, WeTek has successfully helped several industry segments, such as TV / Internet Operators, Hospitality, and Healthcare players, proving the well-rounded nature of its work.

Carolina Cabeza

Over 15 years of experience in the People space in multinational companies with a strong focus on strategy definition and leadership of global projects across the employee lifecycle. 


Carolina started her career at Accenture holding different local and global roles. During her last years at Accenture she was a Manager in the Talent Center of Expertise, designing and implementing the global talent strategy for the Company. In 2019 she joined Affinity Petcare as Global Head of Talent and Culture.
